The clients arranged to rent a property for 5 months while the extensive alterations were carried out. As well as the external and structural work, major changes were made to the internal layout / room sizes, and replacement windows were installed throughout.

During the project, the decision was taken to replace the roof entirely, not only offering practical benefits but also helping the marrying-up of new and old. As the pictures show, the carefully sourced bricks also matched perfectly.

Despite the additional roof work, snow and a long spell of freezing temperatures, the project was finished on time – allowing the clients to move back from their rented accommodation when planned.
