The work was carried out over a 19 week period, with the clients remaining in residence.

A temporary roof was erected to protect the existing structure during the removal of the original roof coverings. Clay plain roof tiles were used to replace the concrete pantiles, Keymer hand-made tiles fitted to the first floor walls, and appropriate windows and doors chosen to further enhance the aesthetic appeal.
