Jaques Construction was born in a garage in Rusper in 1985. The business has been evolving ever since.
Throughout the late eighties and early nineties experience was gathered working in various aspects of the construction and civil engineering industry. A cottage development in Northampton, a new department store in Rotherham and various work on Ministry of Defence sites constructing car parks, test bays, trucking links and the like in Croydon and Crawley were invaluable grounding in the early years. Prestigious sites such as the Inner Temple, Royal Albert Hall and the Industrial Society all benefited from Jaques’ input.
Having worked on sites all over the country, the decision was taken in 1992 to develop the growing reputation of the business more locally. The business now trades entirely on its excellent reputation, carrying out domestic and commercial construction work consisting mainly of new build, extensions and conversions in and around the Dorking area. |
